PROTOCOL ON POLLUTANT RELEASE AND TRANSFER REGISTERS TO THE CONVENTION ON ACCESS TO INFORMATION, PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN DECISION-MAKING AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE IN ENVIRONMENTAL MATTERS KIEV, 21 MAY 2003 A The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, communicates the following: The above action was effected on 23 March 2010. The Protocol will enter into force for Austria on 21 June 2010 in accordance with its article 27 (3) which reads as follows: "For each State or regional economic integration organization which ratifies, accepts or approves this Protocol or accedes thereto after the deposit of the sixteenth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Protocol shall enter into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit by such State or organization of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession." 24 March 2010 [signed by:UN Secretary-General Ban-ki Moon]
